Us
AIT
is a Quality Assured Supplier established in 1985 to
provide industrial skills training solutions to
industry. As a nationally Registered Training
Organisation (RTO), we provide training and consultancy
solutions to meet the needs of the mining, construction
and transport industry. Although we are based in
Townsville, our activities are NOT limited to North
Queensland. Training activities are conducted across
Queensland and in overseas locations including Papa New
Guinea, Indonesia and The Solomon Islands.
The
AIT team seeks to meet the needs of our clients by
offering a range of services starting with consultation
and advice through to specific training courses. Our
group of selected trainers and assessors have extensive
experience in heavy industry, construction, transport
and mining. All our trainers and assessors are in
possession of appropriate licenses/ certificates of
competency in their various areas of expertise. In
addition, they hold the necessary instructional
qualifications to legitimately conduct structured
training programs.
AIT
serves our clients by providing skills training, skill
audits, legislative compliance audits and customised and
registered training packages. We assist individuals,
groups and businesses to identify relevant skills
shortages. We then help our client tailor a training
solution to a particular situation.
The
courses outlined in the AIT website have been developed
in conjunction with Industry and Relevant Government
Departments / authorities. AIT operates within
Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) using the
attendant mandatory Quality Control Techniques.
