Licence to operate a vehicle loading crane (capacity 10 metre tonnes and above) – TLILIC0012

This specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a vehicle loading crane with a Maximum Rated Capacity (MRC) of 10 metre tonnes or more.


Vehicle loading crane means a crane mounted on a vehicle for loading and unloading the vehicle.

This unit requires a person operating the vehicle loading crane to plan the work, conduct routine checks, set up crane, transfer load, mobile load and shut down and secure crane. Includes following directions form a dogman.

Participants that successfully complete the course will be issued a Statement of Attainment and Assessment Summary (AS1) sheet.  They have 60 days to apply to the state WHS Regulator for issue of the licence.

This course is a 5 day course consisting of theory training, practical training and assessments.


Participants undertaking this course must hold a current National HRWL to perform dogging or a current certification for a specific VET course for HRWL to perform dogging that has been issued by, or on behalf of a WHS Regulator
