What is CSQ funding?
CSQ funding is an industry funded initiative provided by Construction Skills Queensland. It offers financial assistance for training to eligible workers and employers in the building and construction industry. The goal is to support workforce development and improve access to nationally recognised training across Queensland’s construction building sectors.
Can I apply for CSQ funding more than once?
You only need to submit one application per funding year to the RTO that you are training with. You can select more than one training course on the application. Funding does not apply if you have completed the course before or if you have already been funded for the maximum number of courses at another RTO. It is important you provide accurate information to the RTO about what training you have already completed.
Is CSQ funding available to apprentices?
Some apprentices may be eligible for CSQ funding depending on the type of apprenticeship being undertaken and depending on the unit of competency to be trained. You should always check with the RTO to find out if you might be able to apply for the funding.
